The Sampo database of the Karelian Cultural Society contains a wealth of information for genealogists and for people interested in history. The Sampo database contains journal articles, materials produced by Irja Rämä and many other genealogists, metric books and other population registers of old Russian Karelian parishes, and article indexes of Karjalan Heimo and its predecessors, the magazines of the Karelian Cultural Society.
